For 20 years, Cascadia has been shaped by the people who put it to work. Now, we’re inviting you to help us commemorate the milestone by sharing your Cascadia story.

20 Years of Leading the On-Highway Industry

The miles keep adding up when you’re putting in the work day after day, year after year. For Freightliner, those years have added up to two decades of building and advancing the Cascadia.

For 20 years, Cascadia has evolved alongside the people who depend on it. Every generation has helped fleets improve efficiency, support uptime, enhance safety, and adapt to the changing demands of the road. While the technology has continued to advance, one thing has remained constant: the partnership between Freightliner and the people who put Cascadia to work every day.

It’s a responsibility we don’t take lightly – we know the quality of our trucks needs to match the quality of work done by the people behind the wheel and the businesses counting on every haul. For 20 years, we have taken on today’s demands while anticipating what may be needed around the next turn.

That’s why this anniversary commemorates more than a truck. It honors the people, businesses, and communities that have helped shape its story. Here’s to Those Who Have Been With Us From the Start.

The Story Beyond the Stats

We could measure 20 years of Cascadia in miles traveled, hours logged, and deliveries completed. Those numbers show how much work has been done, but they don’t reflect what that work meant to the people doing it.

That part of the Cascadia story lives in your experiences.

The driver who remembers their first time behind the wheel of a Cascadia. The owner who watched one truck become a growing fleet. The fleet manager focused on keeping operations moving. The technician who has serviced multiple generations. The employees, dispatchers, and teams behind the scenes who helped keep freight moving.

Each and every one of your perspectives has helped shape the Cascadia story. Now, we need your help telling it. We want to hear about the work you’ve done, the milestones you’ve reached, and the moments that have stayed with you.

Maybe your Cascadia helped launch your business. Maybe it helped you grow your fleet, reach a major milestone, or navigate challenges in the industry. We’re proud to have been a part of these moments, and we’d love to hear how Cascadia fits into your journey.

That’s why we’re inviting you to help us celebrate 20 years of Cascadia by sharing your story.

Throughout 2027, selected submissions may appear as written profiles, social media spotlights, email features, videos, or other anniversary content. Some experiences may be told through one photograph and a few words. Others may lead to a longer conversation or a video in your own voice.

Together, your experiences will help bring Cascadia’s 20th anniversary to life.

What's Your Cascadia Story?

A good story can take many forms, so we’re keeping the invitation broad.

It could be a major accomplishment, a day you remember clearly, or an unexpected moment that changed the way you saw the work. Most of all, we want to know the person behind the experience. Share the details that make it sound like you, from the name you gave your Cascadia to the inside jokes, familiar routes, and little surprises that became part of life on the road.

We want your voice, your details, and your perspective. Tell us where you started, what mattered along the way, and what you are proud to have accomplished. Photos, videos, and other materials can help us see the fuller picture, so send us all the ways you’ve captured your story.

As you reflect on where you’ve been, we also want to hear about where you’re headed next. What goals are you working toward? What opportunities are you pursuing? What does the future of your business or driving career look like?

This anniversary is about the next chapter, too.

Bringing Your Experience to Life

The Cascadia that leaves the factory is only the beginning. Once it enters your operation, it takes on your logos and your way of doing the work.

For this anniversary, we want to see that version of the Cascadia. The one running your routes with your business name on the door. The one with your crew standing beside it, your gear in the cab, and your coffee mug in the cup holder. Most of all, we want to see you behind the wheel.

We have plenty of photos of Cascadia trucks before the work begins. This anniversary is our opportunity to show what Cascadia trucks become once they are yours.

Here’s to Those Who Have Been With Us From the Start

Every Cascadia experience is welcome, and we’re especially excited to shout out the connections that go all the way back to the beginning.

As part of the anniversary, select recognition is planned for customers and trucks with a connection to Cascadia’s earliest years, including customers who still operate an original Cascadia from 2007 (2008 model year). We also want to acknowledge longtime drivers and customers who have been with Cascadia since launch, even if their original truck is no longer on the road.

Think of it as a badge of honor for the people and trucks that have carried this story across two decades.

Share Your Cascadia Story

You have always given us the clearest view of what the road calls for. Now, you can help us show what 20 years of Cascadia has meant to the people who answer that call.

Whether your experience covers two decades or one unforgettable day, we’re ready to listen. For twenty years, Cascadia has helped move freight, grow businesses, support livelihoods, and create memories on roads across North America. While we’re proud of the truck, this anniversary is ultimately about the people who made those twenty years possible.

Thank you for being part of the story. We’d love to hear yours.
